Stanford's Phone-Based fitness plan aims to get older women moving
NCT ID NCT05566873
Summary
This study is testing two different remote exercise programs for older women who don't get enough physical activity. Researchers want to see if adding a smartphone-based 'citizen science' approach that helps identify neighborhood walking barriers works better than basic exercise education alone. The study involves 232 women across the U.S. who will track their steps with pedometers and report their activity over 12 months.
