First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study tested a software called DreaMed Advisor Pro that automatically analyzes blood sugar and insulin pump data to suggest insulin dose adjustments. Researchers wanted to see if these suggestions could be sent directly to patients without a doctor's review. The study included 100 people with type 1 diabetes aged 6-30 who use insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitors. The goal was to see if the software is safe and works as well as standard care.
