Phone-Based nurses could ease Chemo's painful side effect

NCT ID NCT04763356

Summary

This study is testing a new way to manage painful nerve damage caused by chemotherapy. About 422 adults with this condition will track their symptoms daily for 12 weeks. Half will get usual care, while the other half will get a prompt phone call from a nurse who can prescribe specific treatments based on their symptoms. The goal is to see if this remote, nurse-led approach helps control symptoms better.
