Video coaching helps lung surgery patients breathe easier
NCT ID NCT07455552
Summary
This study tested whether remote coaching for breathing exercises helps high-risk patients recover better after lung surgery. 58 patients who had part of a lung removed were randomly assigned to either do breathing exercises with video check-ins from a therapist or do the exercises on their own at home. Researchers measured walking ability, lung strength, and quality of life to see which approach worked better for recovery.
