Video coaching helps lung surgery patients breathe easier at home
NCT ID NCT07455552
Summary
This study tested if guided breathing exercises delivered by video call help high-risk patients recover better after lung surgery. 58 patients were split into two groups: one received remote coaching from a therapist, while the other did the exercises on their own at home. Researchers measured walking ability, lung strength, and quality of life to see which approach worked better.
