Thigh-Worn gadget could reveal hidden impact of FND
NCT ID NCT07478666
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study is testing whether a small monitor worn on the thigh can reliably measure daily activity in people with Functional Neurologic Disorder (FND). The goal is to see if this remote tool gives a better picture of how symptoms affect real-world function than a single clinic visit. About 40 adults with FND and healthy volunteers will wear the monitor for 7 days. The results may help doctors understand day-to-day symptom impact and improve future care.
