Thigh-Worn gadget aims to measure Real-Life struggles of FND patients
NCT ID NCT07478666
First seen Mar 23, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a small device worn on the thigh can reliably measure daily activity in people with Functional Neurologic Disorder (FND). Current doctor assessments only capture a single moment, missing day-to-day changes. The study will involve 40 participants (20 with FND and 20 healthy controls) who will wear the monitor for 7 days. The goal is to see if this method is practical and gives a true picture of how symptoms affect real-world function.
