Can a phone app keep lung cancer patients moving? healthy volunteers weigh in
NCT ID NCT07591376
First seen May 18, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tested a smartphone reminder app designed to help lung cancer patients stay active during radiation therapy. Since patients often feel tired, the app sends alerts to encourage walking. Before testing it with patients, 30 healthy volunteers used the app and rated how easy it was to download, navigate, and use. The goal was to see if the app was user-friendly enough to try in a future study with real patients.
