First seen Jan 03, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study tests whether a newer anesthesia drug (remimazolam) followed by a reversal agent (flumazenil) causes less confusion and agitation when waking up from nasal surgery compared to a standard drug (propofol). About 204 adults will be randomly assigned to one of the two methods. The main goal is to see how many patients experience agitation as they wake up.
