Summary
This trial compares two ways to lower blood pressure on purpose during ear, nose, and throat surgery. One uses only remifentanil, a fast-acting opioid; the other adds nicardipine, a drug that widens blood vessels. The goal is to see which approach gives surgeons a clearer view and reduces bleeding, while keeping the heart and organs safe. About 60 adults having routine surgery will take part.
