Summary
This study tested whether giving the medication remifentanil during emergency breathing tube placement could reduce dangerous spikes in heart rate. It involved 75 fragile patients who needed this urgent procedure. Researchers compared two different doses to see which was safer and more effective at controlling heart rate.
