Breathing test vs. surgery decision: which one is right?
NCT ID NCT07379775
First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a non-invasive breathing test called rhinomanometry can reliably tell if someone with a stuffy nose needs surgery. About 200 adults scheduled for nasal surgery will take the test, and researchers will compare the results with standard exams. The goal is to see if the test alone is enough to confirm the need for surgery.
