First seen Jan 23, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study tested a childbirth preparation program that teaches progressive relaxation exercises to pregnant women. The goal was to see if these techniques could help women feel less pain during labor, influence their choice of delivery method, and improve their comfort with breastfeeding. Forty pregnant women participated, with one group receiving the relaxation training and the other getting standard care. The results will show whether adding relaxation exercises to prenatal education makes a real difference.
