NCT ID NCT07419958
Summary
This study tested if adding guided relaxation exercises to standard care helps people with a slipped disc in their lower back. 96 participants were randomly assigned to either receive standard care alone or standard care plus a 5-week program of supervised relaxation exercises. The goal was to see if the exercises could reduce pain, lessen the fear of moving that causes more pain, and improve overall quality of life.
