Mind over back pain: relaxation exercises tested for slipped disc relief
NCT ID NCT07419958
Summary
This study tested whether adding guided relaxation exercises to standard care could help people with a slipped disc in their lower back. 96 participants were randomly assigned to either receive standard care alone or standard care plus a program of supervised relaxation exercises three times a week. The goal was to see if the exercises could reduce pain, lessen the fear of movement that often comes with back pain, and improve overall quality of life.
