Summary
This Phase 3 trial tests whether adding the chemotherapy drug docetaxel to the standard treatment (apalutamide plus hormone therapy) can help men with metastatic hormone-sensitive prostate cancer who did not have a strong initial response to apalutamide alone. About 320 men will be randomly assigned to receive either the standard treatment or the intensified combo. The goal is to see if the combo delays cancer progression or death.
