Reiki after C-Section: could touch therapy boost breastfeeding and ease pain?

NCT ID NCT07447609

First seen Mar 05, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study looks at whether Reiki—a gentle hands-on therapy—can help women who had a C-section feel more comfortable, have less pain, and breastfeed more easily. About 99 new mothers will either get Reiki sessions (in person and remotely), fake Reiki, or standard care. The goal is to see if Reiki makes a real difference in their recovery and breastfeeding experience.
