Back pain breakthrough? two rehab programs put to the test
NCT ID NCT07419256
Summary
This study tested two different 4-week rehabilitation programs for older adults (ages 60-75) with a specific type of low back condition called spondylolisthesis. All participants did the same set of exercises, but one group also received standard physical therapy treatments, while the other group received a specialized massage therapy targeting muscle knots. Researchers measured which approach better reduced pain, improved daily function, and increased core strength and balance.
