Study tests two exercise plans to ease slipped spine pain

NCT ID NCT07419256

Summary

This study tested two different 4-week physical therapy programs for older adults with a specific type of low back pain caused by a slight slippage of the spine bones. Participants, aged 60-75, did the same set of exercises but with different added treatments: one group got standard physical therapy techniques, while the other got a special massage therapy for muscle knots. Researchers measured changes in pain, daily function, balance, and core strength.
