Can exercise rehab help people struggling after a blood clot in the lungs?

NCT ID NCT04615130

Summary

This study is testing if a 6-week outpatient pulmonary rehabilitation program can help people who are still having symptoms after a pulmonary embolism (a blood clot in the lungs). It will compare an immediate rehab group to a waitlist group to see if rehab improves how far patients can walk, their breathing, strength, and quality of life. The goal is to ease symptoms and improve daily function for those with post-PE syndrome.
