Exercise program aims to keep heart transplant patients strong while they wait

Summary

This study tests whether a supervised 8-week exercise program can improve physical function and exercise ability in people with advanced heart failure who are hospitalized and waiting for a heart transplant. Participants will do aerobic and resistance exercises while receiving IV heart-support medication. The goal is to help them stay stronger and more stable before their transplant.
