Summary

This study tested a new virtual reality training program designed to help adults with two cochlear implants improve their ability to locate where sounds are coming from. Twelve adults who have had their second implant for at least a year took part in up to eight rehabilitation sessions using a special VR system. The goal was to see if this training could reduce the difficulty many users face in everyday listening situations.
