NCT ID NCT06275919
First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This phase 2 trial tests whether the drug regorafenib can slow tumor growth in people with recurrent meningioma, a type of brain tumor. About 104 participants will receive either regorafenib or standard care. The main goal is to see how long the tumor stays under control.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
Regorafenib (a targeted cancer drug taken as a daily pill)
What this could lead to
If it works, this could provide a new treatment option to slow tumor growth and extend life for people with recurrent meningioma.
What could go wrong
This is a mid-stage trial with only 104 participants, so results may not apply to everyone. Regorafenib can cause side effects like fatigue, hand-foot skin reactions, and liver issues.
