New hope for brain tumor patients: drug shows promise in slowing recurrent meningioma
NCT ID NCT06275919
First seen Apr 09, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study tests a drug called regorafenib in people whose meningioma (a type of brain tumor) has come back after previous treatment. The drug works by blocking blood vessel growth and other signals that help tumors grow. About 104 participants will receive the drug to see if it can slow tumor progression and improve survival. This is a phase 2 trial, meaning it is still being tested for effectiveness and safety.
