Summary

This study tested a targeted therapy called regorafenib in 8 adults with advanced medullary thyroid cancer that had spread. The goal was to see if the drug could slow or stop cancer growth when other treatments had stopped working. Regorafenib attacks specific cancer cells while trying to spare healthy ones.
