New drug aims to stop dangerous blood clots in cancer patients

Summary

This study tests an experimental drug, REGN7508, to see if it works better than the standard blood thinner apixaban for treating and preventing blood clots in people with cancer. About 1,600 participants with or without cancer will be enrolled. The goal is to check how safe and effective the new drug is at stopping clots from coming back.
