New gum repair gel takes on gold standard in Tooth-Saving showdown
NCT ID NCT07430748
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This early-phase study tests whether a new biomaterial (REGENFAST) works better than a standard platelet-based treatment (L-PRF) for repairing gum and bone damage caused by gum disease. Fifteen adults with matching defects on both sides of the mouth will receive one treatment on each side, and healing will be compared over 3 months. The goal is to see which material better restores tooth support and improves gum health.
