Summary

This study looks at how acid reflux damages the esophagus in people who had a POEM procedure for achalasia compared to those without esophageal movement problems. Researchers will examine 200 adults using endoscopy and acid exposure tests three months after treatment. The goal is to better understand the type and location of reflux-related erosions in these two groups.
