NCT ID NCT06316947

Summary

This study tested a new program delivered by community health workers to help reduce secondhand smoke from shisha (hookah) in Somali American homes. Fifteen families with at least one adult who smokes shisha at home and at least one child participated. Researchers measured smoke exposure in family members before and after the program to see if it helped create healthier home environments.
