NCT ID NCT02942927
Summary
This study tested a program to help seniors taking five or more medications work with their doctor and pharmacist to safely reduce or stop some pills. The goal was to see if lowering medication burden improves health, quality of life, and reduces side effects. Seniors were randomly assigned to receive this team-based review either right away or after a 6-month wait.
