Summary
This study tested a web-based program called Developing Inclusive Youth (DIY) in 3rd-5th grade classrooms. Over 800 children used the online tool and discussed inclusion with their teacher for eight weeks. The goal was to see if it could reduce racial and gender prejudice and increase friendships across different groups. Results help us understand how to build more inclusive schools.
