Summary

This study tested a simple change in how doctors' electronic prescriptions are sent to pharmacies. The goal was to help pharmacists give clear, milliliter-only dosing instructions and provide the right measuring tool. About 500 English- and Spanish-speaking parents of young children took part. The researchers checked if this approach reduced parent dosing mistakes and improved safety.
