Summary
This study tested an educational tool called CQUPLE to help patients with low-risk thyroid cancer understand their treatment options. Fifty newly diagnosed patients were randomly assigned to either receive this tool or standard care before their surgeon visit. Researchers measured whether the tool was helpful and if it influenced patients' final choice between surgery or active monitoring.
