Summary
This study aims to reduce stigma and increase access to harm reduction services for people who use opioids on Chicago's West side. Researchers will train 600 non-drug-using friends and family members to become harm reduction champions, providing them with tools like naloxone and fentanyl test strips. The goal is to see if this approach lowers overdose rates and improves access to services.
