New study aims to prevent leg swelling in endometrial cancer surgery

Summary
This study looks at 428 people with stage I endometrial cancer who are having a hysterectomy. It compares two ways to check if cancer has spread to lymph nodes: the standard method (removing many lymph nodes) versus a newer method (using dye to find and remove only the key nodes). The goal is to see which approach causes less long-term leg swelling. Participants will fill out surveys and have leg measurements before surgery and for 18 months after.
