Summary

This study tests whether portable air filters can reduce lead dust in older homes and lower blood lead levels in children under 7. About 40 kids with elevated lead levels who live in pre-1978 housing will use an air filter in their bedroom for two months. The goal is to see if this simple device can help control lead exposure.
