First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 38 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a short hypnosis session, led by a specially trained nurse, can reduce anxiety in children aged 5 to 12 before they get anesthesia for surgery. About 60 kids will take part, and their anxiety levels will be measured during anesthesia induction. The goal is to make the whole experience less stressful for children and their families.
