Simple tricks to take the sting out of Kids' diabetes shots
NCT ID NCT07407881
Summary
This study is testing two simple, drug-free methods to help reduce the pain of daily insulin injections for children with type 1 diabetes. Researchers are comparing applying manual pressure to the skin versus using a small plastic device called a shot blocker just before the injection. The goal is to find an easy way to make this necessary part of diabetes management less distressing for kids aged 6 to 12.
