Summary

This study looks at whether carefully stopping certain medications (called anticholinergics) can help prevent dementia in older adults. 344 people aged 65 and older who take these drugs are being followed for two years. Researchers will compare thinking skills, mood, and quality of life between those who stop the medications and those who continue usual care.
