Antibiotic overuse in ICUs targeted by new teaching program

Summary
This study aims to see if an educational program for ICU doctors can reduce the amount of antibiotics given to critically ill patients. Researchers will compare antibiotic use in ICUs during months with and without the program. The study involves about 9000 patients across multiple Brazilian ICUs and will also check if reducing antibiotics affects patient safety, such as death rates or length of stay.
