Can less radiation still fight childhood cancer?

NCT ID NCT02245997

Summary

This study tested whether using a smaller dose of radiation could still effectively control high-risk neuroblastoma, a serious childhood cancer, while aiming to reduce long-term side effects. It involved 78 children and young adults who had already received chemotherapy and surgery. Researchers monitored whether the cancer returned in the original tumor area and tracked side effects to see if the lower dose was safer.
