First seen Apr 29, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study compares a newer, less invasive surgery (reduced-port laparoscopic) to standard surgery for people with colon or upper rectal cancer. The goal is to see if using fewer small cuts leads to less pain, faster recovery, and lower costs, while still being safe and effective. About 500 adults aged 18-80 with early-stage cancer will take part.
