New program aims to ease Parents' fear of low blood sugar in kids with diabetes

Summary

This study tests a program called REDCHiP for parents of children aged 8 or younger with type 1 diabetes. The goal is to see if the program reduces parents' fear of low blood sugar and diabetes-related distress, and improves children's blood sugar levels. About 44 parents will be randomly assigned to the program or usual care, and results will be measured through surveys and child glucose data.
