Summary
This study is testing whether a simple, brief red light therapy can slow the progression of nearsightedness in children. It will enroll 90 children aged 8-13 from African, Hispanic, and Caucasian backgrounds. The treatment involves looking into a special red light device for 3 minutes, twice a day on weekdays, while continuing to wear their regular glasses.
