Scientists track rare, deadly tick fever in france
NCT ID NCT07335965
Summary
This study aims to learn more about recurrent borreliosis, a serious bacterial infection spread by ticks or lice that causes fevers and other symptoms. Researchers will observe and describe about 25 cases diagnosed in France to understand where patients were infected, what symptoms they had, and how they were diagnosed and treated. The goal is to gather knowledge about this rare but potentially fatal disease, not to test a new treatment.
