New nerve block may cut opioid use in gallbladder surgery

Summary

This study tests whether a nerve block given before gallbladder surgery can lower the amount of pain medicine and anesthesia needed during the operation. It also looks at pain and nausea after surgery. The trial will include 64 adults having laparoscopic gallbladder removal.
