This phase 2 trial tests whether adding an immunotherapy drug (PD-1 antibody) and a blood vessel blocker (bevacizumab) to standard short-course radiotherapy and chemotherapy can improve outcomes for people with a common type of locally advanced rectal cancer (pMMR/MSS).
