Summary
This trial is testing a new treatment approach for early-stage rectal cancer. It combines a short, targeted course of radiation with oral chemotherapy and two immunotherapy drugs. The main goal is to see if this combination can completely eliminate the tumor, allowing more patients to avoid major surgery and a permanent colostomy bag.
