New Triple-Therapy combo tested in fight against advanced rectal cancer
NCT ID NCT07154316
Summary
This study is comparing two different radiation treatment schedules, both combined with chemotherapy and two other drugs, for people with locally advanced rectal cancer that hasn't spread. The goal is to see which approach leads to better tumor shrinkage and higher rates of avoiding permanent colostomy bags. Researchers will also track side effects and long-term survival over three years.
