NCT ID NCT07346248
First seen Jan 21, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study looks at 266 adults with advanced rectal cancer to compare how often serious complications happen within 90 days after surgery, depending on the type of treatment they received before surgery. Some patients got standard chemoradiation or short-course radiation, while others got a newer approach called total neoadjuvant treatment (TNT). The goal is to find out which pre-surgery plan leads to fewer problems and better recovery.
