Two-Front fight: powerful chemo tested to wipe out rectal cancer and liver tumors

Summary

This study aims to find the best way to treat people with rectal cancer that has also spread to the liver. It will follow 550 patients who first receive a strong chemotherapy regimen called FOLFIRINOX. The main goal is to see how many patients can later have successful surgery to remove all cancer from both the rectum and the liver.
