First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study tracks 2,500 people and their dogs at four Canadian beaches to see if swimming or playing in water with blue-green algae makes them sick. Researchers will look for stomach bugs, skin rashes, eye infections, and breathing problems. The goal is to understand how often these illnesses happen and what conditions raise the risk.
